E-bay, How Easy to Sell.

Hi. Sister inlaw makes extra money, selling things on ebay. How easy is it to sign up and able to sell things? Everyone loves my photo purse, bought last year at a US Walmart. Well I found them again on clearance for $1.50, so I picked up a few extra.

Sold a couple of items this year and it went very smoothly. The way the site is made, it tells you everything you have to do. I say go for it.

I sell a ton of stuff on Ebay and it is really easy. I mostly Disney related items.

Make sure you know your shipping and handling costs. This could really eat up your profit. It costs us Canadians a fortune to ship something via Canada post, or Fedex, Purolator etc. Make sure you state your shipping costs in your ad. Also, technically speaking you should record all of your revenue for tax purposes. Since you have purchased items with the intend to resell them, they are not considered personal items like in a garage sale, therefore the income is then taxable under Canadian law. We use Ebay to sell every now and then. But I find my costs are higher than my American counterparts. Would you bid on something with shipping of $15.00 versus $5.00? Goodluck.
