Hi all!! DH and I are gearing up for a wonderful trip to WDW from 5/2 through 5/13. We’ve got lots of ressies made and plans to visit a number of Counter Service locations. I was never able to finish my last Dining Report due to some job issues, etc. But, I’m back and so excited to get this report completed in full!!!
Here’s a little background info: DH, Jim, is a BIG EATER! He loves food…nothing fancy; his favorites in The World are Mickey Bars, Crystal Palace, Krispy Treats, Liberty Tree Tavern and Kona Café. He’s not a fancy eater…he likes meat & potatoes kinda dishes…and a full plate. He is not into gourmet cooking in the least!
I’m Kerri! I’m a food lover, too. As a kid I was REALLY picky as far as eating goes. In the last 5-6 years I’ve really spread my horizons quite a bit. I find with the more traveling I do, the more I am open to eating different foods and trying new flavors. During my non-vacation time, I follow the Weight Watchers program and have lost 62 lbs since last February. I’ve been to WDW twice since then and didn’t gain any weight on either trip. When we are there I try to limit my snacking but pretty much eat anything I want during meals. I try to have breakfast in our room and keep it as healthy as possible with cereal and fruit.
My favorite things to eat when I’m at WDW are the carrot cake cookie sandwich @ The Writer’s Stop, Cape May Café clam bake, chocolate covered strawberries, funnel cake, taco salad @ Pecos Bill’s and pizza & calamari at Mama Melrose.
I should also mention that ‘Ohana used to be our absolute favorite spot for dinner...and our overall favorite meal for that matter. But, on our last two trips it was a MEGA let down. Service and food quality were just not on par for us. So, on this trip we are skipping it. I’m sad, and will miss it but we are going to give it a stab for breakfast…all is not lost!!
Here is the list of our ressies. I’ve changed these a hundred times (well, maybe not a hundred…you get the idea…) but I think I am happy with the current line-up! We’ve got some new stuff in there for us! I’m really excited about trying some new meals!

Thursday 5/3 – Lunch – Coral Reef
