I am sure this is posted somewhere- but can you tip what you want? or is it automatically calculated and you don't really have the opportunity to change it? or is there a suggested one and you have the ability to write in what you want?
thanks! the last time we used the DDP was when the tip was included.

They just print suggested amounts (18% and 20%) on your bill and then you write in what you want. Many restaurants around here do the same, usually under the words "TIP CALCULATOR HELP" or something like that.

There are a few exceptions (parties over 6 is one) where 18% is added automatically the same way an appetizer or alcoholic beverage would be (also a standard practice around here). In that case you can add an additional tip if you want, but can't give less.

There is a pre-calculated amount of 18% and 20% on the receipt, but you can tip what you want.

Tipping discussion on the restaurant board is limited to The Disney Tipping Info Thread. If you have more tipping questions, please take a moment to read the first post in the thread and you can pose your question there.

Thanks! :goodvibes
