Derek Hough will not be in season 12 of Dancing with the Stars. Seems he's cast in a movie. He should be back for season 13 though. He's such a great choreographer.

Its not his first movie,,him and his sister were both in Harry Potter

I doubt we will see him back on DWTS. I think he went the way of his sister, onto other things. He was really shocked and P.O.ed when Brandy got cut and Bristol stayed in. It just showed him he could work his butt off with his partner, and in the end, it doesn't matter. Since he usually got the best, young female star dancers, he never really had to face losing before for no good reason.
