DW VIP Fast Pass Tickets on Ebay

I saw someone advertising these VIP Fastpass tickets on Ebay. Does anyone have any experience with these and are they as illegal as they sound

are bidding on a plain white envelope, but what’s including inside free will bring a lifetime of magical memories to you and your family during your vacation!

Included FREE are 25 Disney’s Magic Kingdom Attraction Re-Entry passes, These are not the same kind of fast passes that you can acquire in the parks through standard fast pass machines. These are WAY BETTER then regular fast passes. A regular fast pass has a specific return time and you can only get 1 pass ever couple hours, that is if the fast pass machine is not sold out by the time your able to get another pass, then your stuck in line for hours in 90 degree heat, whinning kids, and that "sweaty guy" next to your family. With these VIP passes you can show up to the ride at any time, give the cast member the pass and your wait just went from an average 120 minutes, down to minutes.





My family of 6 went to Magic Kingdom over Spring Break and the park was packed. My children are still talking about how we passed up “every line”. It was a very hot day and the fast pass machines were issuing passes to come back 3-4 hours later and the stand by lines were always at least 1 hour. We went on most of the big rides 3 times, I almost felt guilty seeing the same people in the stand by line as we passed them up 3 separate times in 20 minutes, while they still had an hours wait ahead of them, moving a few feet every couple minutes. One guy even yelled as we passed him up for the 3rd time “Who are you guys? Royalty?” We just laughed and kept going up the fast pass lane.

The best part of the vacation for me was all the comments from the kids, “ DAD you’re the BEST! ” & “ Dad this was the best vacation EVER! ” My 3 year old is still asking about “Mickey Mouse’s House”. I can honestly say that I will never go to Magic Kingdom again without VIP passes, it made the day for me and my family. Being able to see the whole park and go on ALL the rides in one day is PRICELESS!

Turns out many cast members allowed my older children to keep their VIP passes, suddenly they had a pocket full, so they went out and used them over and over, while my wife, 3 year old and I went souvenir shopping in the shops at Disney.

Do yourself, your family and friends a favor and don't go to Disney without VIP passes. Great for the busy executive, people with children or people with a hard time being on thier feet all day.

Never heard of such a thing. Sounds fishy as some of the attractions listed don't even have fastpasses.

they are most likely return tickets or baby swap tickets because then they wouldnt be dated or time stamped. although i did hear a rumor that they were starting to time stamp them. so you do run the risk of being turned away if they have indeed changed the card stock.

yes iys cheating, but no its not illegal. return tickets are the tickets they give you if lets say splash mountain breaks down and they have to turn the line away, they would give everyone who had been waiting one so they dont have to wait again.

it does make me suspicious that they ahve so many of them, maybe the were stolen by the seller?

personally, i wouldnt buy them. fastpasses are free, just get there early and get them.

I think they are return tickets that are given out when the ride breaks down, hence why they are good on rides that don't have FP. I've seen these on Ebay and I always figured it was a CM that was collecting them and selling them since I tend to see them sold by the sheet. I would never buy something like that and from the prices I see people paying, they are no bargain. I may be too honest, but I'll either wait in line or get a FP.

They are valid IF and ONLY IF you get them in the parks because you had a reason to get them. Many of the fastpasses on ebay are fakes that people are using to try and make a quick buck. Just use the regular fastpass machines and you won't have any problems.

Well they do work, I have seen first hand. Many years ago Universal had re-rides when rides broke down. Well you could scan them on a scanner at home and print them on a laser printer and they worked fine.

I read somewhere that Disney was offering these type pases to VIP persons a while back.
I personally think it is NUTS to buy these, especially on ebay. If you read some of those ads they say that they cannot guarantee that you can even use them AND some are selling those that have OLD dates, saying that the CM's are too busy to even look. THAT i do not believe at ALL.

Eventually DIsney will catch on here if they haven't already, Its Crazy what people will buy and Sell isn't it??!!

Disney is taking measures to stop the sale of expired FastPasses on internet auction sites. The tickets are used at Disney's parks as a method for guests to bypass lengthy attraction standby lines.

EBay is the main selling venue for FastPasses and has declined Disney's request to put an end to the FastPass listings.

Catherine England, spokesperson for eBay, stated "Since there are no laws prohibiting the sale of expired tickets, listings for expired tickets are allowed. EBay does not enforce third-party contracts, so it's up to whoever issues the tickets, in this case Disney, to enforce the terms and conditions they've defined for their tickets".

In addition to the expired FastPasses, sellers list VIP versions of the tickets which Disney provides to celebrities and politicians.

Disney has taken measures to stem the use of the tickets sold on the secondary market. In addition to the time and date on a FastPass, there is now a caution that they are "Not For Sale", valid only on the day issued and are nontransferable.

There is also a problem with counterfeit FastPasses being used in the parks. Disney employees are told to check that the edges are perforated, unlike those the fakes which are manually cut.

Disney spokeswoman Zoraya Suarez has stated that Disney Cast Members are instructed to check that the FastPass is valid and to turn away those that are expired/fraudulent. Suarez commented "What we typically do, we have the cast member politely explain the FastPass is only valid for the date and time issued, then we invite the guest to get a valid FastPass or go to the stand-by queue."

Disney has recently begun looking into alternative methods of issuing FastPasses including the use of barcodes on the tickets and barcode readers at the attractions

THANKS for posting this. Perhaps it will serve as a WARNING to those that either Don't KNOW better or thought they'd gotten a deal off ebay.

Disney is putting a stop to this. So don't buy anything your not sure of.
I heard of to many scams with Disney ticks on ebay.
