DW, March 16 - 19 for Cheerleading??

Is DW going to be extremly crowded during this time?? I hate crowds and generally avoid the parks during peak season. But, my lovely dd joined an Allstar cheerleading squad that will be competiting there during our Spring Break. How bad is it really going to be?

What is the weather like in March? Will I need shorts or jeans?

When exactly is the cheerleading competition?

I have read a few threads and they all have different dates.

Just wondering.


BTW-- we went in Late feb/early march before and the crowds were very light.

A lot of cheerleading teams from all over the country & Canada come down to a competition. Ours is with Americheer International. This is our first year doing this. We traveled to the Opryland hotel in Nashville in December and had a great time. I am really dreading the crowds. But, I can always lay out by the pool while my daughter is with her coach!!

The dates do vary. There are different groups like, WCA, UCA & I am sure others that do the same things at different times. This is all new to me.

I am looking forward to the trip. I have never stayed at the All Star Sports before. We stayed at PC and loved it. All Star Sports is going to packed with cheerleaders.
