DVR rental in Kissimmee area?

Going to Disney in May for two weeks...one of our party needs to tape some programs while we are out...is there anywhere in the area that rents out dvr's? TIA..barb

If you already have a DVR at home, you could just buy a slingbox to solve your problem.

what's a slingbox? We do have a dvr thingamajig here at home...but it's in the tv...
Dh wants to tape his golf and stuff and then watch it later at the condo...he's thinking just to buy on at Best Buy and then ship it home..but we don't need one at home. The timeshare doesn't have recorders on their tv's...just players. I called them and they said they didn't have any to rent out...he is not going to be a happy puppy if I can't figure this out. Most times he just wants to stay in the condo...and that's okay with me...'cause then I get to go to Dis on my own... thank you....barb

In a nutshell, it is a device that allows you to access your TV/DVR from anywhere using a computer/cell phone/etc.

So you would have the Slingbox at home with your regular TV and DVR setup connected through your highspeed router.

When away from home you can "connect" with the set up at home, control TV channels, watch and record from your DVR, etc.
