In 14 days  we will be enjoying our first stay in a one bedroom at VWL so I'm not 100% sure what all is in the room. I have a general idea, have checked out the lists on AllEars but can't seem to find if they have DVD players or not. My DS6 was asking me because he "doesn't like the Disney cartoons" as much as other cartoons.

So.... Do the one bedroom VWL rooms have DVD players in them?

TIA

According to the literature we have here is the description:

One bedroom at Wilderness lodge features a master suite ith a king size bed and a whirlpool tub, a queen size sofa sleeper in teh the living room, TV, DVD player, kitchen, washer/dryer and a private balcony or protch (727 sq feet).

Hope that helps. We haven't stayed in one but all the info we have says even in the studios there is a DVD player.

According to the DVC member site, the VWL still has VCRs.

Could be ... we just met with DVC rep on Monday and got the latest material ... according to the literature VWL all have DVDs in the VWL. Perhaps if you post on the DVC forum someone will have stayed there and can tell you for sure. The other option would be to call and ask. That might be the "for sure" way to find out.

I just returned from a stay in a one bedroom in September at VWL, and stayed in a studio the year before. Both times I had a DVD player in the room. Just make sure yours is hooked up to the TV. I spent an hour trying to figure out how to get the last one to work, and someone had disconnected it from the TV (I assume to connect their own camera or game equipment).
