Due to privacy concerns I have removed the contents of my planning journal.

We did hold our wedding at WDW in Feb 2008. Our venues were: Living Seas Salons, the Wedding Pavilion, and the American Adventure Rotunda. Please PM me if you have questions regarding planning an event with these locations.

Thank you,

I love your journal.. Thanks for letting us be a part of it.:surfweb:

The newsletter sounds like a great idea. I wish I could go back in time and do them. It is exciting getting replys back isnt it. We still have about half to get back and less than a week till the deadline. I hope we dont end up needing to call anyone.

I really like how organized you have made you journal. I look forward to reading more.

Thank you for sharing your background/story- it was wonderful to read! It's funny that when you aren't lookign for your Prince Charming, he just appears!:wizard:

I think it is so sweet that you had a dinner to get everyone aquianted! So thoughtful!

I love your newsletter- very cute!
I am so excited for you and to hear your plans and if you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask!
I hope everthing works out with the room block situation- please keep us posted.
HAPPY PLANNING!

I think this is great help! I'm looking into places to host my DFTW in January of 2009. One of the places was the AAR! I'd love to see the pictures if you have any! Also thinking of the Grand Floridian's St. Augustine Hall or the Classic Couture reception at Contemporary. Really wanted to do the new Wishes Magic Kingdom Ceremony, but when talked to my consultant it's a max of 52 guests including the bride and groom... that will probably end up being too small. Isn't planning a DFTW soo much fun!? I love your early interest cards too. My fiance's family is on the West Coast and mine is on the East. Your ideas are perfect for getting an idea of who is even interesting in attending!

Tuxes
We didn't have a very good experience with the vendor used in Nov for these. DF is looking into S&K or Men's Warehouse in Orlando. I've heard a lot about Carolyn Allens & After Hours, but not too much about either of these places. Has anyone gotten their tuxes from either of them? We like the convenience of having the tuxes delivered to the hotel, but at the same time it might be worth it just to go pick them up at the store where if it doesn't fit right they can straighten it out right then and there.

My dress and BM's dresses
My mom and I are going in 4 weeks to find my dress. A friend of the family owns a bridal shoppe so we will be traveling to VA to see her for her help/expertise. I can't post too much about this as DF is a DISer too and probably reading this right now. :surfweb:

For the BM's, they and I are leaning toward Eden Bridals #7089 in black. It seems tasteful, defintiely re-wearable, and should work well for all the ladies.

We are getting ours from Men's Warehouse. It has been handy to have the guys be able to have them fitted all over the country. I like the idea of them picking them up in Orlando incase something doesnt fit. They are picking them up the friday before the wedding. The price was great too.

I love the response cards you included in your newsletter. I just sent out our newsletter on Friday and really wish I would have thought to include something like that. Another reason for me to start spending more time on the disboards :rolleyes1 so I don't miss out on good ideas like that. It really is hard to guess who might come and I'm sure that a preliminary response card would be extremely helpful. Great idea! :thumbsup2

Wow DVCGirl, you're more organized than me and my wedding is soooo much sooner than yours! It sounds great :goodvibes I think AAR is such a lovely location. Your black and white theme w/ gold accents sounds so elegant! I cannot wait to see the final product :)

Thanks DisneyPrincessBelle! He's going to be stopping in our local Men's Warehouse sometime this week to check it out. Good to know that there are others who are using the same one. Let us know how it turns out!

Make sure and go to the Men's Warehouse website. We got several coupons to use.
