DVCcash discount for rooms vs AP discount

Can anyone tell me what kind of a discount you get on room rates for Saratoga using DVC to get cash discount or is the annual pass room discount better? Also can you get free dining with any of these? We're looking to travel 1st Sept to 15th and would like a 1 bedroom and just not sure best way to do it - no points left!!!! Have pass to upgrade to annual pass, but from UK and can only get free dining if we buy a 14 day pass which we don't really want to do but might have to if no other way to get dining. Any help appreciated. THanks

Member discount, if there is availability (and you have to call and book through MS) is 25%. May or may not be better than the AP (but I believe AP is better).

No, DVC members are not eligible to get free dining unless they book a MYW package through CRO (which includes at least a 1 day park pass) under the same promotion as the general public.
