I was just reading through the latest edition of vacation magic and I found an interesting BLURB about a boat and bike recreation plan at wilderness lodge which offers 4 hours of rentals for any # of people for $115! It says for details and restrictions visit dvcmember.com HUH! sounds interesting let me drag my butt downstairs and see what the plan offers WELL I don't know! WHY? because dvcmember.com is one of the worst organized sites put together! If anyone can find the answer to the question I am looking for PLEASE let me know! I will be happy to eat crow! I spent a half hour looking and I can't find it! DVCMEMBER.COM has taken enough of my time for along time!

NOTE: As a Disney Vacation Club Member, many special offers are available to you from time to time. Please note the special options above currently available for you to enjoy. To receive any of these discounts, you must present your Disney Vacation Club Member card or your Walt Disney World® Resort card that states "DVC Member" at the location. All offers are subject to availability and change without notice. The Disney Vacation Club Member discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions. All offers valid through May 31, 2002, unless otherwise noted. Please refer to the Member Benefits Guidebook for important information with regard to the above incidental benefits. Priority Seating is suggested for dining - call 407-WDW-DINE.†

I'm thinking the mention for the details and restrictions are a "CYA" way of stating that the offer might be recinded, please check the site for details. Since there is no recintion, there is no need for any information on the site.

As long as you have it in writing in "Vacation Magic", that is all you need.

This kind of information is usually in the Member Section under Member News and then (I think) "Special Offers". I haven't checked to see if this particular info is there.

I checked as well and the information is not listed. The official DVC website is somewhat antiquated and does not appear to be a priority. For instance, username and password should be automated if user prefers. The content on the site is poorly organized and less than user friendly. The abrupt end of the Go.com venture likely left only a small group of developers to manage all of the disney sites, and as a result many of Disney's websites are rapidly bcoming dated, including the DVC site. I have never been impressed with Disney's web efforts. The company really needs to redevelop it's online efforts from the ground up. These discussion forums are the best place to get current information.

Didn't I read a while back about unlimited water vehicle/sport rentals during your stay for $130 or so? Does anyone remember this? Maybe it is the same program.
