DVC, VMK, and DIS

OK, so I am just curious. I searched and couldn't find a thread about it, so please forgive me if this has already been addressed. I'm wondering who here on the DIS that plays VMK is a DVC member. I'm just wondering. I'm relatively new to DVC, VMK, and DIS, and everyone on this forum has been so nice. And I have so many of you on my friends list on VMK. I just thought it'd be interesting to know who was DVC too. Besides, I like using acronyms, so I thought this would be the perfect way to use as many as possible in one post.

Also, if anyone would like for this to become a list of DIS/VMK/DVC people, I would be happy to update it. Let me know if there is any interest in this.

Update: Well, enough people are posting that I think I will start a list. Keep 'em coming, and feel free to let me know if I goof it up. Also, Hi to everyone who is already on my VMK friends list, and to those who aren't, I look forward to meeting you out there in VMK.

Yes, I wish you could say DVC too. I also wish you could say SSR, BCV, OKW, BWV, etc. I think you get the idea. Someone asked me the other night what hotel I was staying at for my next trip, and I couldn't say SSR. I ended up saying the horse hotel, for lack of something more ingenious.

I'm not for sure the springs would work, but you could try "share a soda springs"

I'm a new DVC member who has never been "Home".

For DVC, you can say:
- Disney time share
- Disney holiday club
- use our own Dis member's user id "disvaclub"

For the resorts, you can say:
- old key west
- board walk
- beach club
- wilderness hotel (i don't think you can say lodge)
- SSR is difficult, but I saw a great suggestion up above

BTW, be careful using DVC lingo and telling people where your "Home" is -- VMK staff don't understand DVC and will warn you for telling people where you live, LOL.

Also BTW, apparently the next vacation magic will contain a VMK code. If it can be used by multiple people, I plan on sharing the code. I hope it's for a DVC pin

Oh, and Jellyrolls (TLinden) is a BWV owner, too.

I forgot all about AP. I will be getting an AP when we go on our first trip "home" to SSR in December. And I'm also a member of the WDCS.
