Help please! I am in unchartered waters. I typically stay onsite and do an all inclusive package. For our next trip, a friend is going to be able to cash in her RCI time share points to get a 3 BR villa on Disney property. Will we be able to get our tickets and the dining plan too?
:confused3

I can't answer your question about the dining plan but I can tell you you can purchase your tickets online or by phone in advance or you can purchase them when you arrive at the resort.

Your question raises a question for me that I wonder if someone familiar with trading in can answer - do people who trade in through RCI get "home resort" booking advantage? The reason I ask is that 3-br villas are hard to get and so I'm curious.

Yes you can still get tickets & dining but not as a whole package. You can purchase your tickets beforehand & save a bit of money. Here's a link to prices & where to purchase.

You can purchase the dining plan also, but everyone staying on the reservation must purchase it for the entire stay. Below is a link to info about the 2009 dining plan, but ignore the package prices. The additional charge is $37.99 per person, per night for Guests ages 10 and up and $9.99 per person, per night for children ages 3 - 9. :

You can add the dining plan. The only caveat to that is that everyone in your party must add it as well, and it it must be purchased for the entire stay. You can add it on up until 48 hours before check in I believe.

Thanks for your answers. My friend just called and was told that because she has an Easter week in Grand Cayman, she has priority. We found that we only need a 2 BR, so we are very excited now!
I know the dining plan isn't that big of a deal, but with 3 little ones, it certainly helps accomodate seeing lots of characters in a short time.
Thanks for the help!

Very exciting indeed! Do you which resort you will be staying at?

I don't believe these prices are correct. Last time I checked (and we were there in Jan.) the prices were $39.99 for ages 10 and up, and $11.99 for ages 3-9.

We can't make our reservation until Monday when her points show up officially. However, we are looking at the following in order - Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom, Beach Club.
We are open to suggestions - the kids will be 10, 10, and 9 when we go.
We looked at the new CR villas, but they are taking reservations for those yet we were told.

oops you're right! I copied it right from that link so I guess the DIS needs to update their info. ;)
