We will be at BWV in April and have a 7:40 AM ADR for DW's family and us at Chef Mickey's. I was just wondering if the DVC vans can take us there or if we will need to drive to CR or TTC? Please let us know. Thanks.
Well, as far as I know, the DVC vans are strictly used to shuttle potential owners to and from the DVC sales presentations at Saratoga Springs. Sometimes a very kind bell services worker will offer to drive someone somewhere in a resort owned van, but I think it would be unwise to count on that.
You have a couple of options -
1. You could drive or take a cab directly to the Contemporary - they have parking there for you.
2. You could get out to the bus stop nice and early and take a bus to Magic Kingdom as they run them fairly early for character breakfasts (No TTC stop on the bus to MK - they take you directly to the MK) from where you could either monorail or walk 5 minutes to the Contemporary. There have been sporadic reports of bus drivers on the way to the MK dropping off guests at the Contemporary for breakfast, but again, not something to count on, I think.
Have fun at Chef Mickey's - we always have a good time there.
If you have scheduled a DVC tour for that day, the van would likely take you to the CR after the tour but otherwise, the DVC vans are not available to guests for general transportation.
We always allow an hour for resort-to-resort transportation. This gives you time to catch a bus to a Theme Park and another to the CR or bus/boat/walk to DD and change to a CR bus.
Of course, personal vehicle or taxi would also work.

Last Oct. We were leaving WL heading back to the Boardwalk. I had my Dad with me who was having quite a bit of trouble walking so I went to Bell Services to get us all a Taxi. A driver in a Wildrness Lodge "Van" offered to drive us over.
