DVC Sweepstakes

As I believe someone already posted, DVC is running a contest for members with a grand prize of 4 PAPs. and second prizes of $500 in Disney Dollars.

The promotion is to encourage people to register their e-mail addresses. I was concerned that those of us who are already registered would be left out. Not to worry. Got an unsolicited e-mail from DVC today advising me about the contest and letting me know that I am registered with DVC and for the contest.



I would guess that there is probably information on the DVC site for those of you who have not yet registered your e-mail with DVC.

I registered long ago,got the mailing and re registered.Of course I have yet to receive an email from them.I have never been emailed once.I suppose I have a 0 chance at winning anything.

I HAVE REGISTERD MANY TIMES HAVE SENT E-MAIL TO MS AND AS TO DATE HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANYTHING FROM DVC OR MEMBER SERVICES AS TO THIS PROBLEM----SO I GUESS I TO HAVE NO CHANCE IN WINNING THE AP'S SO WHATS THE PROBLEM WITH MS I SIGNED UP AT THE VERY START AND STLL NOTHING AND I KNOW I'M NOT ALONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I registered when they first offered it and never received an email. I contacted them to ask when they would start sending out emails, and they said they had and they had problems with some email services thinking their emails are spam and filtering them out. (I am with maine.rr.com.)

So I changed it to my work address. Still no email in May. Contacted them again. Said they sent it around the 20th and that my work must be filtering them.

Well, my work does filter them BUT, if they filter out an email, they send the employee an email letting them know that they filtered it out and telling them where the email came from. I've no notice that they have filtered it.

So, now I am pretty much convinced that their email listing is incomplete somehow, given two emails that have failed.

I have now changed my email with DVC to my yahoo email to see if that works. No filters there!

Where would I find information about registering for this sweepstakes? I understand one of you is already winning but just in case! I went to the member site, but couldn't find it anywhere.

Sorry, the sweepstakes isn't mentioned on the site. However, I'm sure if you register your e-mail you will be entered since they are sending out e-mails telling the "old timers" they are part of it.

To register, there is a white picket fence gate on the left-hand border of the screen. Click on that and it will ask you to register your Member ID number.

What about the members that don't have e-mail addresses or access to a computer?

FYI, I started a thread on this a few days ago. Halle, you are not too late is you register by June30th! Good luck to all of you, but I really deserve those passes! LOL!!! Really I hope someone from the DIS wins!

I registered some time ago and got the email to say I would be entered BUT...... after reading the small print I discovered I'm not eligible as I live outside the USA Good luck to the rest of you, hope someone from the boards wins.

Yep! We got our e-mail from DVC today! We would be happy with any of the prizes!!
I hope someone from this board wins too!!!
The screensaver was ok, but the one you got when you answers all the questions right on the DVC site was much, much better!
