DVC survey/study

A company in the Chicago area called me asking if I'd like to come to their offices this thursday night for a 2 hour study on DVC. They were "mostly" interested in male perspectives and are paying $100.

Sound fishy? Sound great?

Probably ok, but it is likely a competitor attempting to gain information.

I'd find out more about the company. There are a lot of timeshare-related scams out there.

If the company is legit, it shouldn't be a big challenge to satisfy yourself that they are legit. Lots of resources on the Internet.

I've heard multiple stories of DVC running focus groups in several areas and sending out surveys via email to members.

If you're considering it, might be worthwhile to call the Doorway to Dreams office in Schaumberg. Either that or call DVC Member Services. One of those two should be able to confirm whether or not the information you were given corresponds to a session they are sponsoring.
