DVC studio beds

As far as I know all studios have Queen size. You have to get a 1 BR to get the King size bed.

No DVC resorts have studios with king beds. It's either two queens (OKW) or a queen and a sofabed.

All 1-bedroom villas at all DVC resorts have a king in the master bedroom.

So are there specific resorts that have 2 queen beds (not a queen and a sleeper) or is it just ask and see if 2 queens are available in the studio at any of the DVC resorts?

Only OKW has two queen beds in the studio. The other resorts have one queen bed and a sleeper sofa.

The sleeper sofa in the studio is double sized.

Are the rooms bigger to accomodate the 2 queen beds?
I am thinking the sofabed may be a plus, because you can fold it up and gain some room to move around.
Do the 2 Queens crowd the room too much? I've only stayed in the studio in the BWV.

I thought the room was a bit crowded, it felt a lot like a regular hotel room. I guess that I am bit spoiled by the 1 and 2 bedrooms. We didn't have our kids with us so we didn't really need the extra walk space. I think the studios are around 300 square feet.

BTW I know we stayed in a studio with 2 queen beds, but they are not shown on the website...I just don't want to give you wrong info.

Saratoga has two queens in their studios too.

Are you SURE about that? I'm positive the only studios with 2 queens is OKW.

Oh, and the OKW studios are a bit bigger, but the extra bed is only necessary if you have more than 2 people.

Saratoga has two queens in their studios too.

Nope, only OKW has two queens in the studio. All the rest have one queen and one double sleeper sofa.

Second bedrooms may have two queens in them in dedicated two bedroom villas, though.
