DVC Site Maintenance

I was able to get in and make a reservation today. I’m not sure what changed…must have been back end or maybe an upgrade for the support side for when we call cast members.

I was really hoping for some type of surprise lol

I had that problem, rebooted my computer and got right in.

I was finally able to log in. Yay

I noticed that I was only able to see the dues page of one of our memberships. I tried both the drop down menu and also the link from the dash board.

Hopefully it was a lot of backend system stuff which will allow easier fixes and additions as time goes on

I dunno. "We know our system has problems, so we just went down for 2+ days to install a new system, that will allow us to fix those problems later" doesn't seem too efficient.

Had to use chat to modify my October trip to add a few more guests. It wouldn't let me do that and all I got were the dwarves. So, that feature isn't working for me. Other than that, I don't see any other features that were not there before.

I'm getting this error message too and can't get in on my laptop but, can get on using my cellphone. I haven't been able to get on since they did maintenance.

Have you tried firefox? I had to try several browsers before I could login.

I just fixed the issue. I had to update my web browser.

Have we discussed the issues with the Loan information? We have 2 loans for our direct points, and even though I'll be paying off one next month, we've had them for 2 years and they look like this - and I make extra payments on both so the "Loan term" and "remaining term" should not be the same # of months:



and when I click on Amortization, I get this lovely error page:


so I take it all the bugs weren't worked out and in fact there are a few new ones since the months left on my loan were correct before?

I feel like I remember the Remaining Term never to be correct (I've been making extra payments as well), but I could just be remembering the maturity date not changing. I know I always went into the Amortization and checked there to see when the last payment is now due after making additional principal payments. I definitely am sure it did not have the Remaining Term being that wrong before though (just matching the original loan term). Mine is now doing the same thing. I went in to check my amortization today since I'd been meaning to make an extra principal payment, but was away (at WDW) for the weekend when I'd normally pay, and I'm getting the Dwarfs too. I prefer to check my amortization before and after making the principal payment though, so I may just hold off, especially if they're having issues with the system. I just don't trust them to properly apply it, and I haven't printed/screen saved it in a while, so I have no way of showing whether it was applied correctly.

I feel like on my 2nd contract that I've been double/tripling payments on, the remaining months have been going down and changing at a faster pace that the top contract..and now they're both the same..

which is odd...

I guess I'll give it some time and hopefully by the time I'm ready to pay it off next month they'll have their glitch fixed - I was just wondering if I'm the only one who was seeing this issue..

I emailed about the loans issue - here's their response:



I should note that I made it clear that I couldn't get to the amortization schedule, not that what it was showing was wrong. I noted what was discussed above - that the length remaining was wrong. I couldn't (and still can't) even get to the amortization page.

One thing they fixed. It's been a while since you could see your completed trips for the last 12 months. Our last trip before this April was Hilton Head resort Las August. Longest time between DVC stays since we joined 19 years ago.

Same and I need to modify a reservation and bank points. I am now on hold...hold time estimate...a zillion hours
