DVC Room upgrade

I'm not sure if we were upgraded BUT it sure was great.(Pixie Dust)
I booked an AKL value studio at Jambo.
When we checked in we were given a Savannah view studio? It was
lovely watching the animals from the balcony.

Some of the value rooms have savannah views We spent 1 night in a value 1 bed and hoped for it - but no luck! Still I think it's pixie dust considering the points it costs for a value!

At AKV, "value" is not a view designation, it refers to the fact that some of the Jambo House rooms, which were converted from existing hotel rooms, are slightly smaller than the regular AKV rooms. Some of these smaller rooms do have a Savannah view. You can not request them, it is just luck of the draw.

That would be an upgrade as the values are along the Ostrich and Giraffe Trails.

That's awesome...Here's hoping this happens to us on our upcoming trip in April....Actually I would love an upgrade to Savannah but, I'd much rather just have a pool or a lobby view, if I were to get upgraded... Either way I'm not going to be spending much time in the room, so ust being at the resort is Upgrade enough for Me/Us...
