When we got back from BWV in mid January. In a nutshell, our room was fabulous. We had a standard view on the first floor (BW level) and I can't believe those views are FEWER points than the preferred view of the pool we once had. We had a fabulous view of illuminations from our patio. In front of the patio was this huge lawn overlooking a little canal with that pretty little arched bridge over it. In the mornings there were ducks out on our patio. It was just lovely.
The room was BEAUTIFUL. The detailing at BWV is one of the thigns that sold us on it and we weren't disappointed. It was much nicer than the beach club (where we had moved from). The furniture (bed, couches etc) were all extremely comfortable and our guests were impressed.
The only "problem" we had was in moving our full cleaning day. We had a switch of guests in the 2nd bedroom and wanted our full cleaning to happen on that day. We were told over and over it was no problem as my husband checked back at the front desk to make sure everything was set about 3 times (it was more like "no, sir, it's not in the computer, but I will fix it). The day before we had requested our cleaning for, we came back and the room was clean... oops, wrong day.
My husband went back to the front desk and the CM remembered him from the previous day and got someone up from housekeeping right then and there. We got our full cleaning the next day (without charge, of course) and when we got back to the room there was a manager inspecting the job that housekeeping had done. I've read/seen resports in the past about the lousy job housekeeping does sometimes and all I can say is that if this WAS the case, I don't think it is any longer because it sure seems like they are taking steps to prevent it from happening.
The BWV is our favorite (and home) resort and I don't think you will be disappointed when you stay there!

"You employ stone, wood, and concrete, and with these materials you build house and palaces. That is construction. Ingenuity is at work. But suddenly, you touch my heart, you do me good. I am happy and I say 'This is beautiful.' That is architecture. Art enters in."
