DVC Ressie Linked to My Disney Experience

If I cancel or change a DVC ressie which I've already linked in My Disney Experience, will the cancellation or change automatically be updated in My Disney Experience? Thanks.

Most of the time, when I have cancelled MDE is cancelled. There have been a couple of cases where I had to call to get the old reservation cancelled.
