Just curious what made you feel unsafe? Nothing along the roadways we drive ever makes me move the tire iron from the trunk to the front seat, unlike some of the areas on the fringes of the hotel/motel areas in the area surrounding WDW.

Thanks, Disneycrazed...that is a facinating site. You can see why the BW is such an appropriate theme for WDW. I never realized Coney Island had its own 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride way back at the turn of the century. So many of the rides at Luna Park and the other Coney Island parks seem like direct forefathers of the early Disney World rides. And contrary to the belief that Disney invented the "theme park" and before him there were only "amusement parks" the Coney Island parks seem very themed.

FYI, I recently stayed at the SOG earlier this month. Right now construction is still going on so they only had the single rooms open that had already been remodled. It's going to be beautiful when it's done. They had moved the front desk in what used to be the old clubhouse for now. The Magnolia's 1st tee is right behind the pro shop and the Palm's is around the other side of the resort. This was the first time I played both and enjoyed it very much, even though I found out later when I got on the other side of the pond that I was hitting my ball about 10 foot from an alligator.

Can you walk with your clubs to the 1st tee at Lake Buena Vista Golf Course? Would you drive there instead? Thanks in Advance.

Pros - 38 more years of fantastic vacations. Each resort has its own charm.

Cons- You have to pay for it.
