I've changed my site a bit and now have a section of pictures from the DVC resorts. You can find them HERE.

We just stayed at OKW for the first time last month and we LOVED the resort! We were in a Studio and a 1-bedroom and really liked them both. We do a lot of driving at WDW, rather than taking the bus and it sure is nice to be able to park right outside your villa at the end of the day. The only thing I would change would be to add a slide to the pool, other than that the resort is just about perfect for our family. We're going back in June. :)

Wow! Your photos are great! I hadn't seen many of those resorts. The Animal Kingdom Lodge looked wonderful! We really want to try that one sometime when we have some points to burn  .

Thanks for sharing these with us!

Great Pictures Laura!

I absolutely Love the Aerial of SAB! I think I'll put it up on my moniter for my dd to get excited over!

Thanks!

Thanks for the pic's. Whenever I need a trip Home, I'll just click.

***********, tell me about your digital camera. I can't get over the clarity of these pic's. Great Job.

Your photos are awesome!! Is the roof top observation area at WL "off limits" to the public? The views from up there are incredible.

Thank you for sharing!:)

Laura,

Thanks for the link to the photos, they are great!

I'll also be in WDW in June, I can't wait, it's been so long since I've been there, I did have 1 night in February, but that was just a tease!

Have a great time!

Those are great, thanks. :)
I noticed something...
In the studio at OKW is there two queen beds, not the queen bed and sofa bed like at BCV?

All OKW studios have 2 queen beds, none have a bed and sleeper sofa.

Wow, thank you so much for the wonderful comments!!! :)

The pictures were taken with 2 different digital cameras and I can really tell the difference. For the most part, the blurry pictures were taken with my first digital, which was a 1 MP Kodak. The better quality pictures were taken with my new digital, a 3.1 MP Kodak DX3900. I love this camera!!! It is so easy to use and I love the pictures. I print them out on a dye-sub photo printer and they look as good, if not better than anything I ever got developed.

I also edit my pictures to make them as clear as possible. I use Adobe PhotoDeluxe and I think it does a very good job. I've been able to lighten and sharpen some pictures that, at first I thought I wouldn't be able to use. :)

I'm glad you like them. I really enjoy working on and sharing my site. :)

For the most part, it's off-limits. Flag Families are taken up there to raise the flag. Or if you're good friends with a WL concierge cast member, he might take you up there to look around. ;)

Sorry I've been asking so many questions lately... :teeth:

Is the OKW pool themed? Is there just one pool?
No slide?
Kiddie pool pic - Are those fake sand castles? Is there real sand right there, too for the kids to play in?

I think there are 3 quiet pools in addition to the main pool. No slides, no themes. :( I think that's the only drawback to OKW.

Those were fake sandcastles. But there is real sand around the play area for the kids.
