I have a reservation at Saratoga springs for 9 days but currently only have a 2-day base pass linked to my account with the plan of upgrading to an annual pass when I arrive.

Will I only be able to make fast pass reservations for 2 days or the entire 9 when my 60 day window opens?

Only 2 days worth with a 2-day MYW ticket.

Only 2 days. You need combination of room reservation and park ticket to make FP+ for any days. You should consider purchasing AP in advance. If you do so, you do not get the AP until you arrive and it is not activated until then, but you get the confirmation number which you can put into your MDE as a ticket medium and you can then make FP+ at 60 days out for all days you will be there.

I had annual passes and they expired. Oh well, I guess I am out of luck. I need to apply the 2-day tickets to my purchase. I believe I can only do that in person.

Correct. Upgrades can only be done in person at WDW.

This is turning into a nightmare for me. I didn't even go into all of my other issues, but maybe someone will have some advice for me. Here goes:

I have a 2 day reservation at Music on 12/30 & 12/31. I am then moving to the Dolphin on 1/1-1/3 - Saratoga is after that.

So far I have not been successful in connecting my Dolphin reservation to my account. If I can ever get it connected, I am guessing I should use my 2 days worth of fast passes for the 1st and 2nd since that seems like a very busy time.

If I can't get that reservation connected, I guess I can use them on Marathon weekend which also seems to be the busy time.

I am not worried about new year's eve as I'm there for the experience and not the rides and will be fine without.

Did I mention that this was a spur of the moment trip and I let my passes "go" in August because I was "not going to go back until the summer" I should have known better! We have been DVC for 10 years and We have have been going at least twice a year since my son was 2. He is 18 now.

Swan/Dolphin reservations are supposed to be linkable to MDE. Does your last name have any special characters (like an apostrophe), or a space (Mc Something, etc.)? The last name you enter when linking needs to match what's in the reservation system exactly. If it's not the last name, you will need to call someone and I'm not sure if you need to call the Dolphin or Disney.

I have contacted the Dolphin directly and they told me that my confirmation number and info is correct. The other issue is that it is a Travelocity booking, so I keep getting the run around on who can help me.

It's too bad because I have used 3rd party a few times before and have never had this issue. It was just way too late to try to book DVC for that time and I couldn't justify paying the $180+ for a value for those 2 particular days when I could stay at the Dolphin for the same price!

Good news! 4 days later my reservation finally linked! Not sure why it took so long, but glad it finally did!
