DVC reservation question

Hello all.

Quick question. So I made a reservation at the 11 month mark using my 2024 points (at boardwalk) Since then I've made other reservations that depleted all of 2024 and borrowed from 2025.

Now we are wanting to replace the boardwalk reservation with a Vero Beach reservation at the 7 month mark. I was originally planning on booking Vero Beach 1st and then cancelling Boardwalk. However, would I now be stuck with 2024 points that could expire before I get a chance to use them? Is this something that a call to guest services would solve?

What is the best way to make sure I use my 2024 points first?

The system will used whatever points are in your account or, if you are modifying a reservation, use those points.

So, if you are changing a trip made with only 2024 points, and modify that for VB,it will use the 2024 points
