DVC Resales

Three things: I am new to this board, but we just pulled out of a deal to purchase BLT through Disney, opting instead to purchase a resale of AKL.

First, which resale companies have proven themselves to be reputable and effective?

Secondly, how often do new resales come on the market? For example, can I expect to see new listings daily, weekly, etc.?

Third, ROFR? At what pricing point would Disney refuse our offer on AKL?

First, which resale companies have proven themselves to be reputable and effective? Check out the sponsor of this board. That is who we used to purchase our AKV resale and I highly recommend them.

Secondly, how often do new resales come on the market? For example, can I expect to see new listings daily, weekly, etc.? You could see them daily, if the website were updated that often. A better idea would be to figure out what you are looking for in terms of resort, number of points, use year and price range. Then, contact the reseller. They will contact you if anything becomes available that meets your requirements. A lot of resale contracts never even get posted for sale because the resellers have a list of people waiting for them.

Third, ROFR? At what pricing point would Disney refuse our offer on AKL?

Just an aside...Resales for AKV are going to be ess savings than for some of the other resorts, becaue Disney is still selling it directly.

I purchased my through Jason at TSS. Anytime i had a question he was very fast to respond even if he was not in the office. I get at least 2 to 3 new listing emails a week, also if they just get one at a very good deal he will email again even if i already have got one that day.

We went with **** and Jaki at **********.com in August and couldn't have been more pleased. If you let them know what you are looking for, they will find it and let you know. They are also very knowledgeable about what price to offer and so on. I would highly recommend them.
