My husband and I are currently in the process of purchasing a resale at OKW. We are very happy with the deal we're making but are concerned about our ability to book a vacation, since we won't get all our points until April 1st. I already called HH, and was told they have nothing in April. We really want to get down to OKW the second week of Nov. Do we have a shot? Is it even worth it to go through with this? Will we be able to get anything? I was super excited yesterday, but now am a little worried about resort availability. We ended up with a decent amount of points, due to the previous owners banking them, but we don't want to waste them. Help!

let the lack of availability at HH impact your outlook on getting something at OKW. HH is an extremely small resort whereas OKW is huge. Unless you are impacted by Veteran's Day (not sure of the exact observance) I would think that you would have a more than decent chance at something. Keep VWL open as an option also. Good Luck. No one really knows the answer until you try.

We just got our member number on Monday and called and got ressies in May, July, and Dec. for OKW. I, too, was worried about not getting in, however, we got all the dates we wanted! I think you will be okay. Good Luck!
