DVC resale at BCV? Help!

DH and I want to purchase a DVC resale at BCV after we have saved enough cash to pay for it (1-2 years). I have some concerns about this and hope you can help me. First of all, I've noticed there are very few BCV resales available at present. I think that might be because they have all been purchased relatively recently and perhaps more will be available in 1-2 years. The other concern is that Disney expects to sell out of BCV by April 2003, so if we don't purchase before they sell out, then we will have no other option than to find a resale available. The other issue is I have seen on this board that Disney is starting to buy back resales more aggressively, which makes me wonder how difficult it will be to find a BCV resale in 1-2 years (I think once the resort is sold out, any points that Disney buys back are only available to people who already own at that resort). Lastly, I'm thinking that once Saratoga DVC is up for sale, that BCV will become more available, but maybe this is faulty thinking on my part. Does anyone know when Saratoga will be completed?

Any thoughts you might have on this would be appreciated. We are trying our best to make this purchase debt-free so our number one priorities are not overlooked (kids' college funds and retirement). Many thanks!!

I seriously doubt that the BCV will sell out by April. BCV opened up last July. They are still selling contracts for WLV and BWV, which are older than BCV. The only thing you will have to worry about is when Disney has a price increase. They are currently selling at $85 a point. I bought in last May at $75 a point and less than a year they have had 2 price increases. It is an investment that keeps on giving. Good Luck!!!
