DVC Renter and MYW Dining Add on Option

I am splitting my stay between the Gaylord Palms and Saratoga Springs Resort.
I am wondering if it is possible to add the dining option to my already used MYW tickets. We are staying at GP prior to SSR and would like to purchase MYW tickets and then use the dining option at SSR.

Is this possible or can we only do this with a package.

You don't need a package to add dining to a DVC rental if it is through a member. I'm not sure how it works if the ressie is through CRO though.....

thanks for the reply but we will be staying from 2/10/06 to 2/16/06 and I know the DDP will not start until April 1, 2006. Just wanted to know if it is possible to add the dining option to the already used MYW tickets that were not obtained through a package deal.

For any DVC stays, whether renting or not, they can add the DDP to their reservation as long as their stay is AFTER April 1. For your stay at DVC you do not have to purchase any tickets as long as it's after April 1.

Your DVC member who is renting to you can call for you to add the DDP to your reservation (if it's after April 1).

If you will be there before April then you cannot do the DDP at DVC. If you stay there as a rental person (with no package) before April then no you cannot add it. You cannot add DDP with used tickets even at DVC because its before April 1.

I thought DDP was based on nights stayed onsite and not MYW tickets (except that you need to purchase at least a 1-day ticket). Is it different for DVC members? Just curious.

DVC members do not need to purchase any tickets. Just based on nights stayed.

Based on what you appear to be asking, no, it's not possible.

If your reservation at SSR is through Disney directly, you can only add the MYW Dining Plan as part of a package. In order to make your reservation a package, you need to purchase at least a one-day pass for each person on your reservation, and the same length pass for each person. In addition, the MYW Dining Plan has to be purchased for your entire stay, based on the number of nights of your reservation.

If your reservation at SSR is via points rented from a DVC member, or your own points, the MYW Dining Plan is not available for purchase to these Guests until April 1, 2006. You can reserve the plan now, but the change isn't effective until that date.
