DVC- RCI points Available

I'm confused on this post...are these points good for DVC in Walt Disney Orlando or just the RCI resorts? Not familiar with that We need points for Jan 2013 somewhere around the 1st week, flowing into the 2nd week for around 9-11 nights. AKV, BLT, WL, or GF

When do these points expire?
I have never trqded through RCI... so how many points are needed for red, blue ,and white weeks?
