DVC pull out bed ????

Like I said in a previous previous thread we are looking now at renting a DVC studio for our next trip. We are thinking OKW because we have stayed there before and love the resort and that the studios have 2 beds. My kids are really thinking that they would like BC better but I am concerned about the pull out bed. I was wondering if it is the typical flimsy mattress that most pull out beds have? also how are the rooms in size?

They are way better than the old ones, but for me still not enough support. Beds are very subjective, like the Goldilock and the 3 bears story I believe the size of BCV is 354 square feet. Here is link to a picture of the pull out.

I have to imagine that for kids any bed will be fine. My dh spent a couple nights on a bcv pull out because I had a cold and he wanted to try not to catch it. Didn't bother him at all and he has back trouble to begin with.

I just posted about my trip to Saratoga Springs Resort-

my main complaint was the HORRIBLE BROKEN Sofa sleeper. The bar was in my back and the bed was so bowed that it took the sofa cushions under the legs of the bed to straighten it up!

Don't know about OKW- but holy cow. What a nightmare.

Personally, I wouldn't rent a studio to sleep more than 2 people. Once you open the pull out bed, you have taken up all of your floor space and the room becomes claustrophobic. Unless you move a bunch of furniture, it will be difficult to use the balcony once the bed is opened. I own DVC and if we are going to have a 3rd person, we get a 1 bedroom at least. The only studio I would stay in with more than 2 is OKW because of the 2 beds.

In answer to your question, the BCV pull out is more comfortable than the style that is at SSR. As an adult, I would not sleep on any of them but for children, the BCV pull outs aren't terrible.
