It has not added more longhouse studios if that's what you're asking. It has added more studios to the original association through the tower.

Yes, I should have been more clear. Has the tower opened up more availability for studios at the original resort?

I had a waitlist come through a couple of weeks ago for a lakeview room in May that I had been sitting on for about a month or so, so I think it's possible that it did a bit.

I'm sure it has to some extent. I switched a studio longhouse reservation for April over to the tower a few weeks back, and I don't think I'm alone there.

We've debated here on the boards that years from now, the studio longhouses may prove more difficult to book over the tower (they sleep 5, are closer to TTC, have two showers) but in the short term, the tower is the shiny new object.

I had a standard studio for April 6 to 11 that i booked at 7 months. I moved to a Duo Premium View when booking opened for everyone. More points because of the view but I wanted to try it out (I’m big on water views).
