DVC Points for Alaska Cruise

I recently continued my addiction and gave myself more DVC points. I am looking to the future and considering an Alaska Cruise on Holland America with points.

Does anyone know how I can find the dates for the different point values (ie. low, economy, value, etc.)?

Any other information would be greatly appreciated!

We looked at that too and the best thing I can tell you to do is call MS for booking information as there weren't any dates listed in the book.

The best cabins for Alaska cruises in 2008 are booked by now. I got the last cabin in the category I wanted when I booked our Alaska trip for August 2008 and that was about 6 weeks ago.

If you really want to do Alaska and do it right in a geat cabin, you need to book NOW. I'd book with cash and then rent the points to get your money to pay for the trip. And I'd go with Princess (which I am, this is our second trip to Alaska with Princess.)

If you don't want to be bothered renting points go ahead and book the cruise. My husband and I did and loved it. I personally would rent the points out but then there's the chance you'll use the money for something else. If this is something you dreamed of doing--I say "go for it". Have fun.
