DVC Points at Fort Wilderness Campground?

First off, hi! I'm new here, nice to meet all of you!

We're planning on buying into DVC as soon as we have cash in hand to do it without financing, and I was curious how much it costs points wise to stay at Fort Wilderness Campground instead of a DVC resort. We're thinking of getting an AirStream or VW camper for our many road trips, and it would be nice to know if we could take an extended Disney trip by going to FW.

(BTW, i don't believe there is a $95 fee for the campsites at this time. there is a $95 fee to trade out to the rest of the disney collection.)

Per-night points for the cabins ranges from 7 weeknight/12 weekend in Value season, to 11/20 in Holiday season.

You'll have to do the math and see if that's significantly more than you'd pay then by just booking a campsite through CRO.

Bear in mind that points for the non-DVC options are not fixed or capped in any way, and can be doubled, tripled, or taken away altogether on Disney's whim.

Oh, wow! Thank you for the quick response! You know, I'm not sure if that does work out to be so hot a deal if we used the DVC points for it, considering we plan our vacations in week blocks.
