Hi,
How does the 11 mo rule work? If I want to check for availability for 10/21, can I check now since it's November, or do i have to wait until 11/21? Thanks!

I assume you are a DVC member.

You'll need to wait for 11/21/2011 to call about a reservation for your home resort that begins on October 21, 2012.

If you are interested in a non-home resort, you'll have to wait until March 21, 2012 to call.

You'll have to wait until 11/21. The good news is that there will be availability, since very few will have been able to book. My understanding is that only those booking a week prior at the eleven month window would have been able to book 11/21 as part of a full week reservation, i.e. booking seven nights 11/15 through 11/21.

Whether there will be availability problems depends on what they're trying to book. For AKV concierge, AKV value or BWV BW view or standard view, there may indeed be issues. 3 BR units in general tend to have availability issues.
