DVC Point Renting and Free Dining

I want to go to WDW * with 7 other people and I would really like to rent DVC points so I could stay at a deluxe resort however can I get the free dining offer with that?

No. Free dining is only available with a full price package room & ticket purchase. You can purchase the dining plan with a points rental. In some cases, the cost of renting the points and purchasing the dining plan is a better deal than free dining, especially in a 1 bedroom or larger.

You are also going to be limited on availability. DVC resorts start booking 11 months in advance.

Renting from a DVC owner is kind of like renting someone's house at the shore. You're doing business with an individual, not Disney, so none of the Disney deals, packages, or discounts are available. The DVC member will be able to book the dining plan for you at the usual cost, if you'd like to get that.

I agree that this is very short notice, and your options are going to be very limited. You might find something at OKW or SSR.
