DVC Point Rental Dining Plan Question

I recently rented points from a DVC member and the transaction went through a 3rd party I am sure they don't want mentioned here. About 10 days later I decided to add a dining plan to the reservation. I faxed the requested information to the 3rd party and a charge for the exact amount I calculated it would cost for 7 days appeared on my credit card statement under "RESERVATIONS WDW".

The resort reservation is linked to my MDE account as well as the 2 day reservation we have at Pop Century for the two days prior. The dining plan we added to PC shows up on MDE but the one added for the SSR Villas via the 3rd party does not show up on MDE.

The 3rd party sent me this screen shot as verification but I'm still nervous about showing up to WDW only to find out there is no dining plan added for 7 of our 9 days there and I have no real proof I paid Disney for the plan. The screen shot shows the dining plan along with our names (which I deleted) but no reservation number was showing on the shot.

Am I worried about nothing or should I be worried? Is there some other way to verify all is well and my dining plan has been added to the reservation?

Renting points requires trust. The screenshot is as good a receipt as you'll get.

Try going through the online check in process to see if it shows up there. However, if you need to make reservations that require an upfront payment (not just guarantee), you may have an issue. Even then you can go to the venue and have them refund the paid amount if you need to in this situation.

The Dining Plan will not show up in MDE for DVC Reservations. I believe it does appear if you pull up the reservation using this site: MyDisneyReservation.com/DVC

DVC often doesn't show up on Disney IT products, DVC just isn't big enough for Disney to make it right. I wouldn't worry, take the screen print with you on your vacation just in case.

Great information. I did pull up the reservation there and it does state, "Package Type: Room Plus Dine". Thanks for the assist!
