We just received our Feb members clubhouse and read about the new DVC pins, got all excited and then realized that the only way to get them was at Disney directly. Well we just got back from a 10 day trip home and don't see a trip in the too near future, so big favor to ask  is anyone going soon that would be willing to purchase the Jiminy cricket and Tink pins for me? I will gladly send you the money and shipping. If you can please contact me at trogan4@comcast.net Thanks a bunch!!

yea we have Comcast and they are terrible, the worst thing that could happen to Disney. But what if Disney bought Comcast...think of the possibilities!!

I thought I read that Tink was already sold out. I know you can find them all over eBay now. Anything for a buck, I guess. Heaven forbid the people who actually WANT the pins should be able to buy them. :(

I had also read that Tink was sold out so when I went into BCV store last Sat I asked and they had one.

The Tink pin had no limit so even if they sell out temporarily, they will get more in.

TerryS is right, the Tink DVC pin is unlimited so they will be re-released. However the Jiminy pin is supposed to be LE, they are going to be the tough one to get and should also be more valuable.

It figures that the pins I want probably won't be available when I get there March 1. :(
I thought that these pins were supposed to be available to DVc members only just like the regular member pins. How on earth do people get enough to sell on ebay?
Although i do laugh when I see DVC pins for sale on ebay and the description says something weird like " This wa savailable only to buyers the first year DVC was for sale" or some other such nonsense. And there it is the pin that I had just bought! I guess anything goes on ebay.

I've been keeping my eye on the Tink pin on ebay, but it keeps going for so much. But, I too was under the impression it was sold out. After reading the clubhouse I saw it was an open endition and wodul be avaialbel all year so I informed hubby that si his job when he goes next month - find me a Tink pin!

Well there's no hope for us! I would love to add both pins to DD3's collection (especially as her favourite film is Peter Pan and she is Tink!!) but as we don't visit until October, then I guess I'm right out of luck.

It is such a shame that so many people buy the pins to make a few dollars on ebay. It's sad that little kids miss out on things they will treasure........

We always make a point of buying a pin that DD loves and leave the rest for other guests who we hope will do the same (especially if they are LE).::yes::

Oh well, you never know - that pixie dust may find us in October!
