DVC "phone tour"?

We leave for DW in 5 weeks. Got a postcard today offering a $25 GC if we call and take a "phone tour". The fine print says it has to be at least 10 minutes long, and then they would mail it in 30 days.

Anyone ever taken one of these? What the heck is a "phone tour"? And how hard is it going to be to get off the phone after 10 minutes?

A "phone tour" is a sales call, nothing more. A opportunity for a skilled and highly trained sales person to convince you to spend your money.

I got the same thing last week. I called and did it. He said my card would be here before my trip. I leave 10/22. Was good information. Not bad at all. I enjoyed it. I would buy today. I can't get my husband on board.

I took this phone tour last week. Today fedex just stopped by and delivered a package. Inside was a letter and my $25 gift card. So they are sending them fedex so they do arrive before the trip. So seems they are targeting people that are going to be there within 30 days.

I will also have the hubby watch the DVC channel. Wish me luck!
