DVC PAP - wrong expiration date

So I've been on the phone with Disney for over an hour now. I purchase our PAPs in December 2012 when they offered the DVC discounted price. Our 1st use was on February 9, 2013 so they should be valid for our February 1, 2014 trip...WRONG!!! The system shows they were activated in December when I purchased the voucher and they are now expired! Trying to get this resolved! Any other DVC members have this issue?

When I bought mine in October 2012, the cast member asked me if I wanted them activated right away. I told him no, that I just wanted a voucher for future activation. I was able to then activate the pass in March of 2013 and it is good until March 2014. I'll bet yours were activated when you purchased them.

I hope you can get this straightened out.

Well it took me 1 1/2 hours on the phone but it is somewhat fixed. The CM's were great and they noted in the system that it was a Disney error and that the PAPs are good till 2/9/14. They gave me a Magical # that I will have to give to GS when I go to the park. I will then be issued new tickets for the length of our stay. Granted it will stink to have to go to GS instead of going straight into the parks (and I hope it's as easy as they said) but I feel better now! The technical support guy even made my FP+ selections for me since MDE shows that we do not have valid tickets.

I have a kids pass that expires 3 months before the adult ones purchased and activated at the same time do. In my case it doesn't matter because our next trip is after the expiration and I don't want to extend them but yes, others are in the same boat.

Length of stay tickets won't give you AP discounts. How will they address that for you?

Discount is same for DVC or the PAP, so probably not a big deal.

Not sure about the discounts...I can ask when I get there. To be honest my biggest concern was that get me into the parks....I didn't want to have to purchase tickets. I will still get my DVC discount on merchandise. Our PAP are going to expire on 2/9/14 so this will be our last trip on them...I do not plan on renewing. I'm not too concerned about the discounts on this trip.
