I just need some help in figuring this all out...please bear with me!!:)

DVC AP's
$314.18 (taxes in)Adult
$267.32 (taxes in)Child

Question #1:
I order these now, we get vouchers, and we can activate the vouchers upon arrival at WDW, at any ticket window or Guest Services location?

Question #2
If we want to upgrade the DVC AP's to a DVC PAP, we have to go to Guest Services location, within the first 7 days, and pay the dollar difference, roughly $100/ticket?
$415.35 Adult
$353.58 Child

Question #3
Will the DDE still be valid for our trip in February? And when do I order it?

TIA!!

Not any ticket window. You need to go to Guest Relations (or a ticket window that also serves as Guest Relations - such as those at EPCOT's International Gateway).

AFAIK, there is no deadline to upgrade to the PAP. However, the price to upgrade will always be the difference in cost between the passes - Disney no longer "prorates the price" based on the time left of your year.

The DDE is good for approximately 13 months from the time you order it. For example, if you ordered the DDE today, it would be good through the end of December, 2006. If you wait until the middle of December (you can ask the DDE CM when the actual "switch over" date is for the month), the DDE will be good through the end of January, 2007.

It is taking about 3 weeks from the time you order the card to get it in the mail (U S locations). If your trip will occur before you get the card, the DDE CM will arrange for a temporary card to be sent to the Guest Relations window at EPCOT's main entrance. You can pick it up there and use the temp card for your first trip.

Best wishes -

Thanks so much:)

So on our first morning at WDW, we're heading to Epcot for Soarin'...we pick up our temp DDE card at Guest Services/Relations, and if we want to pay the difference to get PAP's, we can do that all at the same time..?

Can you tell it's our "first time" as AP holders!! LOL!

When I called DDE to ask when to order my DDE so that I could have it for this December as well as January 2007 (13 months) She said that I should order the card after December 5th and then it would be valid until the end of January of 2007. I told her since I leave before the card would arrive, she told me to call their office a few days before the trip and they would have a temporary card waiting at the guest services at EPCOT when I arrived.

AP-annual passes
What are PAP's?

Premium Annual Passes..they're good for Disney Quest, the water parks, Pleasure Island, and Wide World of Sports admissions, plus the theme parks:)
