Hello from Calgary! Our family is looking at jumping on the DVC band wagon and need a little bit of insight from the pro's (YOU!!!
).
DS will be 2 this summer and DD just arrived 10 days ago. As you can see from my signature we've been to WDW once per year for the past 4 years. We're not going in 2010 as we want DD to be a bit older so we're going in May 2011 but that's still 5 times in the past 5 years. We can't see any end in sight but we're used to going at typically slower times of the year (May, Sept, Dec).
Obviously, we can still keep going during the slow(er) parts of the year but once DS start school it will be a little more difficult to go during the school year.
That brings me to my question...as parents w/ kids going to school is DVC the right choice for us? I guess the other alternative is to put the money that we'd use to purchase DVC into an investment account and pull the money for vacations out of there over the next few years as we go.
Any and all thoughts/opinions are appreciated!
