DVC Newbie--A Bit Confused by My Points Statement

Greetings all!

Household 6, the Little Gunner and I are considering a Disney visit this December, before the big holiday rush begins. I'm trying to decipher my points statement. (We just bought into DVC via resale, so this is all new to us).

According to my statement, here's what I have:

Use year Dec 2009: 0 points
Use year Dec 2010: 26 points
Use year Dec 2011: 26 points

If I'm reading this correctly, if I want to make a ressie for this December, I will have no current year (2009) points to use, because they were already used. I would, though, be able to borrow from my 2010 allotment.

Right?

That is correct. For travel between Dec 1 2009 and Nov 30 2010 you may borrow from 2010 UY allotment of points.

Good luck a studio in December. You may have to go on a waitlist to get anything. December is always a busy time for DVC. Actually from the first of Oct through the middle of Jan is busy.
