DVC Near Universal

Hi everyone - new to the board. Have a quick question! Which DVC resort is nearest to Universal Studios?

none of them are very close.

SSR is on the east side of wdw property and would probably be the shortest driving distance from US.

Agree. None are terribly close, but if you plan to stay at a DVC resort, SSR is closest, then maybe OKW. However, once you're on WDW property, none of the resorts take very long to drive to. Have fun!

SSR and OKW, Vineland to I-4, it's very well indicated, takes roughly 25 minutes. This year we went to Busch Gardens from SSR, only took 1 hr 15 minutes.

If you're planning to go to the Universal parks, it is sooooo worth the money to stay one or two nights at one of their hotels. You get front of the line access to all attractions at both parks which is worth its weight in gold. You really get your ticket money's worth rather than standing in line all day--and with Harry Potter World, it will be CROWDED!
