DVC MYW ticket discounts or only APs?

Sorry...the search function is not working for me today.

Do DVC members get ticket discounts, or only AP discounts? I'm trying to figure out whether to buy APs today or buy MYW tickets for our November trip. When does an AP make more financial sense? How many days do you need to "park hop" during the year to break even or save money? We have two adults and two children. We may only go once a year or maybe twice. We live in CA, so it's a bit of a trek to the World.

DVC discount is only good on APs. In fact, the price of all passes goes up Sunday, so you may want to order them today.

I think the break-even point is around 10 days.

Thank you for the quick response! I am trying to decide whether to spend $1260.98 today for 4 APs....just saw the thread about the price increases so I have to decide soon! Argh, the pressure....

My vacation is in 15 days. I ordered my DVC-AP through the Disney website and requested will-call pickup. I not only saved $$ on my AP, but also on shipping since I'm picking it up at WDW.

I haven't been able to figure out if the DVC AP will increase too, and by how much. $10 per AP? $20 per AP? We don't go until Thanksgiving...don't know if I should spent the money now if I am not saving that much .

we leave in 10 days! BWV. where are you staying? for the first time ever, i just bought our AP's online, will call option, after a lot of support and help from the DISer's. there were right, it is really easy. in my research on the breaking point for AP's to be worth it, it tends to be 10 days, but with the awesome DVC discount, i figured it to be more like 7 days. get your AP's tonight and save the money, it should save you about 70 bucks to do it by midnight.

Someone posted on the Theme parks board the difference in AP price. The difference between today's price with tax and tomorrow's price with tax is about 20 bucks.

This isn't with the DVC discount though. But significant enough, I ordered mine tonight at had it Will Call.

The DVC price for an Guest 10 and older PAP is $414.00 (with tax $420.92). That's what my invoice that I printed out said.
