Oh my, I hope they warn guests to keep their drapes closed.

Love your report. I esp like when Mrs. DVCMike chimes in. :goodvibes

Happy Belated Birthday!!

Thank you or taking us along during your trip and sharing some of your wonderful photos.

How did you like the Shepard's Pie at Raglan Road? It looks nothing like the Shepard's Pie I have gotten at our local Irish Pub/Restaurant so I'm hesitant to try it.

We spent the morning and early afternoon at the Magic Kingdom. We took the Keys to the Kingdom tour.

They let us into the park at 7:45 am. It was nice walking around Main Street when the park hasn't opened yet. There were guests on their way to breakfast at CP or CRT, but we just got to walk around until the tour started at 8:30am. I wish I had brought my camera with me, as I could have gotten some great shots of an empty park.

It was comical when we were sitting down off Main Street and they opened up the park. It starts off with people running as fast as they can down Main St, then people walking really fast, until people start moseying down Main St.

The tour was interesting. We were taken down Main St into Adventureland, Frontierland and Liberty Square. The guide points out features and shares stories about Walt or Disney history. We got to ride the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion by entering through a CM door right to the front of the line. We had a nice lunch at Columbia Harbour House, where they gave us a nice gold “Keys to the Kingdom” pin.

Of course, we got to visit some backstage areas, such as the parade floats and going underground for a quick visit to the utilidors.

Today is our last day at WDW. We depart in the wee hours of the morning for our drive back to NC. It’s been a fun trip! We would be coming back in less than 60 days to AKV Kidani Village, but decided a few months back to visit Disneyland in California instead. We’ll be there in just 60 days, so we’ll be getting another dose of Disney quite soon.

I liked it. It was different than what I'd get a our local Irish Pub, but still good.

The tour sounds like fun :thumbsup2 Thanks for the report and have a safe drive home :goodvibes

Mike: you'll have to let me know when your Calif. trip is so the Orange County Chapter of DVC Mike's Groupies can have a mini-meet!

Hey Mike:

It looks like we will just miss you. We hope to get into Orlando about noon on Friday. The Keys to the Kingdom tour sounds awesome! Happy Birthday!

Sign us up for the DVC Mike Groupies!

How awesome your trip has been - thanks so much for sharing it with us all. Have a safe trip home - and enjoy Southern California and the one that started it all - Disneyland!! Woo hoo.

Oh yeah, and I'm all in as a DVCMike Groupie!!

Wow Mike, this time went by so fast! I enjoyed reading your TR very much. Have a safe trip home. And... another "in" for DVCMike's Groupies!

A few years back I went on the pre-breakfast safari at Animal Kingdom. We had just finished our safari ride and were walking back to Tusker House for breakfast when the rope dropped. We were faced with a wall of humanity rushing towards us to get fast passes.

Very very frightening!!!

I have to confess. I agree. It is genuinely refreshing to see another professional male that seems to enjoy himself as much or more so at WDW as I do.

I know there are others here but Mike just stands out.

It's good to be a kid again. Thanks for reminding us all, Mike, that we can be both given the right circumstances. :)

I second this post!

Time to close out this report. I'm packing up the computer for the night.

The weather has been very nice our entire trip - even today.

Stopped by and took yet another look at the BLT models and the Kidani Village models. I'm sure everyone's seen the THV model, but it was nice to see it in person.
