i am a new okw dvc member! the emtire family is excited but i can not find any dvc merchandise anywhere. someone please let me in on the secret! Anything from clothing to coffee mugs, site specific would be nice, if it is possible..

We saw a nice selection of DVC logo items in the gift shop of the Grand Californian last night. Don't most of the resort gift shops still carry cups, towels, hats, shirts, etc.?

Ebay is where we've gotten most of our DVC merchandise. There are a few things offered at the resorts, not really too much though. I think Disney is missing the boat here. I think people would buy if they offered more.

Each DVC resort carries some DVC items in the gift shop area of the resort store.

I've gotten alot of my stuff at welcome home wednesdays. My husband has played the game, plus he's won a door prize. I've never been selected, but did win the door prize on the cruise. My daughter has also played the game. There are generally a small selection at the DVC resorts, and more at SSR and OKW. In May SSR had a HUGE rack of clearanced DVC merchandise (tee shirts, izod shirts, keychains, glasses, magets). We went to OKW, and found no sale stuff, so it seems SSR had all of the sale merchandise. When my DH was a CM, a ton of DVC stuff would show up a property control and we got most of our clothing there (tees, hats, sweatshirts, jackets, izod shirts, bags) (and for 75% off too).

To my knowledge, there's no resort-specific DVC merchandise. When DH & DS#1 went to BCV 2 years ago, they brought me a BC t-shirt (not DVC). So, when we went to BWV in June I was going to get a BW shirt. The CM in the DVC store area said they are phasing out resort-specific t-shirts, so I wasn't able to get one. There were generic DVC shirts, bags, pins, etc., in the DVC store.

When at the world in March, we saw DVC specific merchandise at the market at the Contemporary Resort, and at the store at Boardwalk. T-shirts, mugs etc. If my memory serves me correct they were all just generic DVC - no resort mentioned.

There used to be a good bit of resort specific merchandise out there, but, you are right, the selection is seriously dwindling since the move to all generic items.


I haven't had a chance to check the OKW and SSR stores in a while.

I found this site that show's what is offered at WDW and how to order directly though them. I have not tried ordering anything through here so I can't offer any experiences.

They have tried to put more DVC merchandise out in the past but I don't think it sold that well. Disney knows how to sell and if it was selling they would put more out. The only thing I bought was years ago I got a navy DVC jacket.

I noticed a lot of the DVC logo items are either in blue for men and pink for women. I don't wear pink. And the blue isn't all that attractive. I think Disney really doesn't think out their marketing that well. We have tried to buy a BLT pin (pin trading) but they don't carry any at BLT. You might find one in a four resort four pack at other hotels but none at BLT. Also the BLT t-shirts were just bland and a medium to light blue. If they used the logo on the opening day pin on a white T-shirt it would have been a more popular design.

The gift shop at SSR had the largest selection of DVC logo items that we have seen at WDW. I'd check that gift shop out on your check trip to WDW.
