DVC Merchandise Catalog (1994)

Here are a few pages from the last (and only) <a href="http://disneydoc.homestead.com/DVCcatalog.html">DVC Merchandise Catalog</a>. It was available in 1994 and items could be ordered by phone. There were a few other items besides those pictured.

It seems the offerings were discontinued due to lack of interest by the 20,000 (or so) members at that time. I'd expect more interest, or at least more sales volume, would be found at this point in time.

We can always hope! DVC is certainly aware of the increased interest- both from comments on this board and a high volume of comments at the resort stores and thru MS. Hopefully some more logo member merchandise will become available.

In what year did they change the logo, to include just two mountain peaks? Did that coincide with the reduction of DVC merchandise for sale? Or did these events occur years apart? Having to modify the logo for all products would have added some expense.

If they ever decide to do another catalog we'd be interested in -
stickers and/or magnets for the car
car licence plate tags and/or holders
fanny packs
backpacks
baseball caps
key rings
those plastic thermal travel mugs
T-shirts for kids
All with the general DVC logo. Not only would we be showing how proud we are, but we'd also be a moving adversteriment! Sounds good to both parties, doesn't it?
I think a thread recently had what other DVC items people would be interested in?

The loss of the third mountain was around 1995. I think the current logo has been in existence since before VB opened.

I too would love to see some items for our cars and some hats that are like the ones DVD has been giving away. Must call our guide and ask for a hat with the return of our add-on paperwork.

If the Member Guidebooks are coming out annually, why not include a section on Merchandise. It appears that they are trying to change the loge each year anyway, so why not let it correspond with the Guidbook.

I sure hope they come back soon with the multicolor merchandise. The current outline look is a little boring.

There has been some really nice sportsware though including the lightweight jacket they came out with last year.
