DVC Membership Cards??

Waiting on Disney ROFR for BLT, supposed to close April 1, but... leaving on a previously booked cash trip April 31. Gonna be tight on getting the cards from Disney I think. Are there locations at Disney that we could get cards? Is there a chare for replacement cards?

We'd like to convert our 10 day park passes to APs with the DVC discount and probably pick up a TIW card as well. Where would we take care of that? Do we have to have actual cards on us?

We will also be staying at BLT for 4 nights on cash. What is the likelihood of being able to cancel and rebook through member services for cash with a DVC discount? We want to be able to go to TOWL.

My wife and I had the same issue when we bought. If you are in the DVC computer system, you can go to SSR and have them print you temporary cards. You might even be able to arrange to have them pick you up at your resort and then drop you off where you want to go.

We recently purchased APs at Guest Services at DTD; I understand you can purchase TIW cards there as well. I think they can pull up your DVC membership on their computer, so you would not need your DVC cards although I understand you can get temporary cards at SSR.

As long as your # is in there system, your good. This takes about 6 days ish after closing. (They say longer, but 6 os good. )

Same thing happen to hubby and me, I called every day after closing and 2 days before we left and were in the system, and they verbally told me the # and I wrote it down. Took the # to gates at the MGM and they did it all. Went off without a hitch.

No help here on TIW.. didn't do that.

Looks like we won't NEED to have the member cards to get the DVC discount on the APs, GREAT!! But if for some reason we have to we can get temps at the DVC Preview Center over at Saratoga Springs.

Gotta love the disboards!!

Now I just hope we can rebook our 1 bedroom at BLT through member services with the same 40% discount we have now so we can check out the TOWL.

Of course ALL of this hinges on ROFR!!!

Fingers crossed. I love it when a plan comes together...
