hey...
we have just joined...our settlement date is mid january...will we receive something in the mail that will contain a user name and password or do i need to call and request this...
also, just what is on the dvc members only site....

If you have purchased through DVC directly, you are probably already in the computer and can make reservations now.

If you are purchasing a resale, you will be entered into the system about a week after your closing and can make reservations at that time.

You can call MS to get your membership number and you will eventually receive notice by mail- but be patient. It won't come for awhile.

The Member's site has online access to most of the printed information sent to members. It also provides a listing of member benefits and available discounts. Your DVC guide can give you the user name and password (it's also provided in most correspondence from DVC.)

You should also send an email to MS ( members@disneyvacationclub.com ) with your name and member number to receive email notices and reminders.
